Product · The Creative Engines

Three minds
one flow of taste.

VÆST doesn't run one generic brain. It runs three — the mind you think with, the hand that writes every word, and the last light before the work ships. Each is our own engine, tuned and versioned, named for the old north. One writes; the others only ever push — which is the whole reason a VÆST document keeps a single voice.

Idea · Think

GALDR

The sung spell that sets the spark — and sharpens it.
Engine GALDR v3.0Idea & ThinkPropose-only
Galdr was the old north's sung magic — words chanted until they took shape in the world. VÆST's GALDR does the same for your ideas, at both ends of the work. At the start it is a living sandbox: it recites options back, argues art theory with you, catches half-thoughts and raw fragments pasted from anywhere, and flows — throwing sparks freely until the first true idea lands. Then, once ODIN has written the draft, the same mind returns as Think — reading a section like a CD reviewing a junior's deck, not proofreading but provoking: the missing cultural hook, the safe choice worth bending, the idea that stops one step short. It only ever proposes. Because it is a different engine from the one that wrote the page, the counsel is honest — and ODIN, not GALDR, writes any change.

What it does · how it works

  • Idea sandbox — a fast, generous brainstorm on the home screen: riff, debate, paste raw source from outside.
  • Keeps the good part, kills the weak part, and says why — then curates the thread into Crystallize. Promote any line with “→ brief.”
  • Think, per section — hit Think on any section and pushes appear right inside it; nothing gets lost between sections.
  • Approve / Skip per push — approve and ODIN rewrites just that section; every call feeds taste memory.
  • Speaks your chosen persona and language throughout. If it ever stumbles, a backup voice carries on — GALDR never falls silent.
Crystallize · Synthesis

ODIN

The all-seeing mind that brings order.
Engine ODIN v2.0Crystallize · Multi-canvasThe voice
Odin traded an eye for wisdom and hung nine nights to grasp the runes. VÆST's ODIN is the all-seeing mind that turns a mountain of input into order. When ideas settle, ODIN takes over — reading every chat, file and note, crystallizing chaos into one clean document, splitting distinct deliverables into their own canvases. Every word that lands on the canvas is his: one document, one voice — even when the counsel comes from elsewhere.

What it does · how it works

  • Crystallize — chats, brief, files and sparks become one sharp, sectioned document, streamed live.
  • Multi-canvas — identity vs copy vs event split into tabs, each standing on its own.
  • The writing hand — every edit, every approved push, every applied fix passes through ODIN, so the voice never fractures.
Refine · Present · The apex

NORRSKEN

The apex light — nothing ships until it has passed.
Engine NORRSKEN v3.2Apex · flagship-classFinal authority
Norrsken is the northern lights — the highest light in the sky. VÆST's NORRSKEN stands at the top of the chain: the apex judgment nothing escapes, the last word before the work leaves the studio. Built on our most powerful engine, it is the most sensitive read of all: NORRSKEN scans the entire document from above, hunting inconsistency, redundancy and broken logic. It doesn't rewrite blindly — it shows each flaw exactly where it lives and offers a change to approve, polishing the work to an editorial, pixel-clean finish before it reaches the client.

What it does · how it works

  • A bird's-eye audit for inconsistency (tone that contradicts), redundancy (ideas that circle), and logic (does the flow hold).
  • Every finding quotes the exact line and highlights it in the document — nothing hidden.
  • Track-changes style: approve one at a time or all at once; view exactly what moved.
  • When the document becomes a deck, NORRSKEN lands that too — the same apex judgment shapes the final presentation.
  • The last light before the work leaves the studio.
Side by side

What actually separates them

Same studio, three different jobs. Read the third row first — only one of these engines is allowed to touch the page.

GALDR
the mind you think with
ODIN
every word on the page
NORRSKEN
the last light before it ships
Its job Idea & Think Crystallize Refine & Present
When it speaks Before there is a draft — and again on the finished one The moment the inputs are ready Last, when the work is about to leave the studio
Writes the canvas Never Every word Never
What it reads One thread, or one section at a time Everything at once — chats, brief, files, notes The whole document, from above
Best at Provocation — the missing hook, the safe choice worth bending Synthesis — a mountain of input, one voice Catching what line-by-line reading never catches
Left alone, it would give you Sharp notes nobody applied A confident draft nobody challenged A flawless audit of the wrong document

Which is the argument for keeping them apart: the engine that judges the work is not allowed to write it. A critic that can quietly rewrite whatever it disliked isn't a critic — it's the same mind nodding at itself.

The instrument & the through-line

VÆST binds all three into one flow

VÆST · v3.1

The instrument

The document canvas that carries a brief from spark to sign-off — orchestrating all three engines — the thinking mind, the writing hand and the apex light — across one clean flow, with persona, project voice and taste memory riding on every call.

Aesthetic Intelligence
The through-line

Your taste, carried on every call

Persona, project voice and taste memory ride with the work from Galdr's first spark to Norrsken's final light — so three engines still sound like one studio, not three tools bolted together.

One voice
Where VÆST sits

Everyone else hands you one mind wearing every hat

Ask a single assistant to spark the idea, write the draft, critique it and polish it, and it will do all four — in one voice, agreeing with itself at every step. It cannot give you a second opinion, because there is no second mind in the room. VÆST splits the work across three engines and puts a hard rule between them: only one of them is allowed to write.

vs ChatGPT / Claude

One brilliant generalist in a chat window. Ask it to critique its own draft and it is grading its own homework — politely. VÆST answers with a document, and with a critique from an engine that didn't write it.

vs NotebookLM

A place to research your sources — it summarizes what you fed it, faithfully. VÆST is where the work ships: it takes a position, holds a house voice, and hands over a client link and a deck. A notebook never argues back.

vs Gamma

Best-in-class decks, fast. But a deck is a format. Here it's the closing move — Norrsken only builds one once the thinking has survived a real audit. Beautiful slides can't rescue an unexamined idea.

vs Jasper / Writer

Marketing copy at volume, against brand guidelines you upload. VÆST is built for the opposite shape of problem: one considered document, in a voice it learns from every approve and skip you make.

Summon all three.

One brief, one afternoon, one document you'd actually send.
